Water Street, Campagna, Italy

Posted on December 1, 2018December 31, 2018 by Steph

15th July 2018

We had a delicious  breakfast on the veranda at our beautiful agriturismo – Casale Giancesare – scrambled eggs this morning and they were gorgeous – thanks to the lovely Jonny!  What a great start to the day and then we took Enzo’s recommendation to go to Water Street at Campagna – apparently (I don’t know how it’s done) the water flows right through the village through the streets and everyone has a fabulous time!

Water Street was great fun

Both Paul and myself were very brave and lay down in it – bloody cold lol. If you’re ever in Italy in this area and water street is on – go – it’s really good fun – everyone was having such a good time – we loved it.

We sat and had a couple of beers and some delicious pizza – then went for a wander around the town – Campagna really is gorgeous – we wouldn’t have come if it hadn’t been for Enzo recommending it to us – so thanks Enzo.

Our walk around the town was lovely – quite a climb up the hill but worth it for the views.

Campagna is beautiful!

We then drove back to Casale Giancesare and chilled by the pool  – then sat on the veranda drinking their beautiful white wine and watched the sun go down – life doesn’t get much better.

Thanks for looking at my blog.

Wow I’ve never heard of this place but it sounds like so much fun, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been to Rome and loved that part of Italy so would love to visit more too!
