This is our first blog and we just want to share our holiday adventures, walks or any other mildly exciting stuff that we do.  This blog is about our walk along Cromford Canal and along Stanage Edge.

Those of you who know us will know that our little Alf was our baby boy who sadly passed away a month ago and we were devastated! Life without him will not be the same for any of us and I wanted our first blog to include him.   Alfie would walk for miles and it was only when Chan and Ross took him up a mountain that he faltered – and by falter I mean he could not walk properly for a week after!!!!

This is a walk we had with the Alfster along Cromford Canal and back.   The photo below is at the end and we are about to turn around and walk back.  We had a lovely walk even though it was a cold day and was getting really dark by the time we got back.  We thought we would get a train for part of the way back but, very surprisingly for a Bartlett, we missed it as we were late!

The next walk is Stannage Edge which we did in January last year.  It was so cold, Alfie had icy paws.  It was a great walk though and he really enjoyed it.  I just need to take Mr B up there now as unfortunately he missed this one.
